Dog tags identify more than the present
Days of Remembrance commemorations like this one held at the Maxwell AFB Base chapel last year are observed by state and local governments, military bases, workplaces, schools, churches, synagogues, and civic centers. The Maxwell-Gunter Days of Remembrance Observance ceremony will be held at state capitol Tuesday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. This year's observance will close with a ceremony at Maxwell AFB's Chapel No. 2, Friday, April 24 at 10 a.m. (U.S. Air Force photo by Mr. Jeff Melvin)
