We've got a report 01:11.790 --> 01:14.400 involved in doing aircraft , uploads , 01:14.410 --> 01:18.010 downloads and tracking . We have civil 01:18.019 --> 01:20.260 engineering involved and they are 01:20.269 --> 01:22.879 building up tents in a remote location 01:22.889 --> 01:25.389 for us . We have security forces 01:25.400 --> 01:28.150 involved and they are protecting our 01:28.160 --> 01:30.790 base , protecting us as well as 01:30.800 --> 01:33.269 ensuring that we have security and 01:33.279 --> 01:35.589 responding to any threats that may be 01:35.599 --> 01:38.860 out there . We also have LRS involved . 01:38.870 --> 01:40.926 We have vehicle maintenance from LRS 01:41.129 --> 01:44.459 involved as well as PO LP doing 01:44.599 --> 01:46.655 personnel accountability and we have 01:46.655 --> 01:49.669 services doing troop feeding , which I 01:49.680 --> 01:51.849 just came from and it was absolutely 01:51.860 --> 01:54.180 delicious . We also have the chaplain 01:54.209 --> 01:56.529 that's out here and the chaplain has 01:56.540 --> 01:58.373 been amazing . He's been lifting 01:58.373 --> 02:01.834 people's spirits . The went very 02:01.845 --> 02:03.974 well . I feel like they did the 02:03.985 --> 02:07.235 exercise to prepare us mentally for the 02:07.245 --> 02:09.524 real world to just make sure that we 02:09.535 --> 02:11.634 are trained to handle any situation 02:11.645 --> 02:14.475 that comes our way . It can be hard if 02:14.485 --> 02:16.374 you are not mentally prepared , I 02:16.374 --> 02:18.914 learned to be more alert . Um I also 02:18.925 --> 02:21.175 learned to pay attention to people 02:21.184 --> 02:23.017 around me to pay attention to my 02:23.017 --> 02:25.929 environment . The training this weekend 02:25.940 --> 02:28.389 went really well . We had a great 02:28.399 --> 02:30.343 opportunity to work with the other 02:30.343 --> 02:32.232 squadrons at Maxwell and we don't 02:32.240 --> 02:34.339 normally get to do that on the drill 02:34.350 --> 02:36.461 weekends and it was really nice , you 02:36.461 --> 02:38.628 know , getting around the other people 02:38.628 --> 02:40.683 in the squadron . My experience this 02:40.683 --> 02:43.470 weekend was really great . I thought it 02:43.479 --> 02:47.360 was nice seeing the people out 02:47.369 --> 02:49.425 there . You don't normally get , you 02:49.425 --> 02:51.480 see them sometimes in the defect and 02:51.480 --> 02:53.258 then you have an opportunity to 02:53.258 --> 02:55.313 actually do real world experiences , 02:55.313 --> 02:57.789 you know , exercises and , you know , 02:57.800 --> 03:00.429 showing their ability to do the work 03:00.440 --> 03:02.551 that they have been trained to do and 03:02.551 --> 03:04.884 they actually get to put it to fruition . 03:04.884 --> 03:06.996 Um , and actually seeing , you know , 03:06.996 --> 03:09.107 what they do and they're proud of the 03:09.107 --> 03:08.270 work and everyone that they have 03:08.279 --> 03:10.335 trained really , really hard . No 04:06.324 --> 04:08.213 matter how much that you have had 04:08.213 --> 04:10.269 experience in your career , you will 04:10.269 --> 04:12.269 always find something else that you 04:12.269 --> 04:14.213 need to learn . There's been times 04:14.213 --> 04:16.324 where if you weren't able to have the 04:16.324 --> 04:18.491 opportunity to do exercise , you would 04:18.491 --> 04:20.547 probably never be in those positions 04:20.547 --> 04:20.130 before . And it gives you an idea of 04:20.140 --> 04:22.829 seeing other people doing stuff and 04:22.839 --> 04:24.895 you're getting to learn from them as 04:24.895 --> 04:27.061 well and you learn from their mistakes 04:27.061 --> 04:29.283 and you learn from , you know what they 04:29.283 --> 04:31.283 did good . And so the biggest thing 04:31.283 --> 04:33.395 about these exercises is learning and 04:33.395 --> 04:35.506 being able to teach what , you know , 04:35.506 --> 04:37.617 you have people that have been in the 04:37.617 --> 04:39.672 military , you know , for many years 04:39.672 --> 04:39.529 and they're able to come down and bring 04:39.540 --> 04:42.209 their knowledge and bring it down to 04:42.220 --> 04:44.331 the young airmen . And that's what we 04:44.331 --> 04:46.109 need . We need , you know , the 04:46.109 --> 04:48.820 training to make sure that when we go 04:48.829 --> 04:51.051 out the door and we're deployed that we 04:51.051 --> 04:53.218 actually know what we're doing . And I 04:53.218 --> 04:55.329 think these exercises are very , very 04:55.329 --> 04:57.551 important to do . My expected result of 04:57.551 --> 04:59.551 this training is that we will build 04:59.551 --> 05:01.551 confidence in each other . We build 05:01.551 --> 05:01.510 camaraderie because we're going through 05:01.519 --> 05:04.630 the stuff together and we will 05:04.640 --> 05:06.640 demonstrate our capabilities , what 05:06.640 --> 05:08.910 will be certified and prepared to take 05:08.920 --> 05:11.570 the next step towards our deployment 05:11.579 --> 05:12.079 later on .
