MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- The 908th Airlift Wing dropped two containerized delivery system bundles March 28 on Maxwell Air Force Base.

The CDS drop was practice for the wing’s participation April 8 and 9 in Maxwell Air Force Base’s celebration of the Air Force's 70th Anniversary during an Air Show and Open House also commemorating the 100-year anniversary of the U.S. entry into WWI, and a century of airpower.

The 908th will have five of its eight C-130 Hercules involved in the event. One as a static display and four aircraft performing a cargo drop scheduled near the end of each day’s events. For more information on the Air Show, please visit the Maxwell Air Force Base website
