Wing Airmen take enlistment oath at Tuskegee Airmen National Historic site
Retired Lt. Col. Herbert E. Carter, accompanied by retired Col. R.J. Lewis, shakes hands with Senior Master Sgt. Colonel Carter, an original Tuskegee Airman, is a former commander of the AFROTC detachment at Tuskegee, longtime university official as well as president of the Tuskegee chapter of Tuskegee Airmen Inc.
