Airmen remembered
On Oct. 11, the grand opening for the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site was held at Moton Field in Tuskegee, Ala. The field was the only flight training facility in the 1940s for the first African-American pilot candidates in the Army Air Corps, earning the name Tuskegee Airmen.
