Welcome Home
908th Airlift Wing Commander Col. Brett Clark delivers congratulatory remarks to the group of 13 908th Security Forces Squadron members shortly after their return from a six-month deployment to Iraq Aug. 13. The Airmen, all Air Force Reservists, are the second group of an original contingent of about 45 members that deployed last February to return home. Four unit members returned home in mid-July; the rest are slated to return later this month. While deployed the 908th security forces personnel were assigned to a large expeditionary security forces unit comprised of Airmen from bases throughout the Air Force temporarily assigned to Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq, to protect the base and its 5,000 personnel supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
